It is always a near narcistic task to write an About section on one’s own blog – or anywhere else for that matter. The nice way out is simply not writing one, but then again I’m a tad too narcistic for that.
I was born in the early eighties in Ghent, Belgium. Curious, to say the least, with a broad range of interests. I would love to be able to sing, or draw, or play music, or write books – something artistic. The truth is I’m not too good at either of these (except maybe, very maybe, the writing). Instead I’m left with a brain which is half addicted to language, half intrigued by science. It seems I’m predestined to become a science-fiction writer, but rather I find myself with a degree in Biochemistry and stalking every Portuguese/French speaking person to try and practice my language skills on them. In a very predictable course of events, this has led to my currently doing a post-doc in South Sweden.
I hope to be able to entertain you but either way – thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again!
